This policy explains what information Investa-Gate ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and a username, and we store authentication credentials securely through our identity provider.
Usage and activity. The tickers and analyses you view, your watchlists and notes, and — if you use the community features — your posts, comments, follows, and any portfolio you choose to share.
Payment information. When you subscribe to a Membership, payment is handled by our third-party payment processor. We receive transaction and subscription status (e.g., whether you are an active member) but do not store your full payment card number.
Technical data. Standard server logs and device/browser information, and an IP address that, where used for abuse-prevention or analytics counting, may be stored in a one-way hashed (de-identified) form.
Communications. Messages you send us, and feedback you submit through the app.

2. How we use your information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including generating scores and analysis.
To process payments and manage your Membership.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To send transactional emails (such as account, billing, and earnings notifications) and, where permitted, product updates.
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Third-party processors we rely on

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us:

Hosting & infrastructure — to serve the website and application.
Database, authentication & storage — to store your account, content, and uploaded images.
Payment processing — to handle Membership subscriptions.
AI analysis — to generate AI summaries of news, context, and sentiment from market data and public sources.
Email delivery — to send transactional and notification emails.
Market & financial data — to supply the underlying company data we score.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering preferences (for example, your theme). We may use limited analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service. We do not use your data for third-party advertising profiling.

5. Public and shared content

If you use the community features, your username, profile, posts, and any portfolio you choose to make public may be visible to other users and the public. Please be thoughtful about what you choose to share publicly.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described below.

7. Your choices and rights

You may access or update your account information in the app, and you may request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information). 8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
